Sya si Zeno: no relation to Susie

Na curious lang ako sa word na Stoic. Bakit nga ba naging Stoic ang mga Stoics?

Ang Stoics ay tawag sa mga taong sumusunod sa Stoicism(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stoic) o mga turo ni Zeno of Citium ng Athens noong third century BC. Itinuturo ng Stoicism ang :

emotions; the philosophy holds that becoming a clear and unbiased thinker allows one to understand the universal reason (logos).”

Base sa common understanding natin, kapag sinabing Stoic ang ibig sabihin ay devoid of Passion. Pero iba kasi ang ibig sabihin ng Passion ng mga Stoics. Sa
