Sandugo Shrine:Something to Skip or Stop to Appreciate More

DeliciousDiggTechnorati FavoritesMultiplyFacebookShare

Probably the least interesting part of the country side tour, the Sandugo Shrine located at Bool is usually the first stop of the tour being near Tagbilaran port, airport and resorts.

The Sandugo Shrine are life size bronze statues depicting the blood compact between Datu Sikatuna and Miguel Lopez de Legazpi.   It is the least interesting because there is nothing on the site that explains the sculptures displayed.

Ofcourse if it is your first time to come to Bohol, it would be a sin not drop by and see the places and things that made Bohol a popular tourist destination and the Chocolate Hills is the ultimate must see place in Bohol. Chocolate hills is located in the town of Carmen and is called as such due to the brown color of the hills which resembles chocolate kisses from Hersheys during summer.

Ba-lik sa Bohol, Ba-lik! (Ba-lik! Ba-lik!)

DeliciousDiggTechnorati FavoritesMultiplyFacebookShare

I have a severe case of “Last Song Syndrome”. The song “Balik sa Bohol” kept on playing in my mind from the first time I’ve heard it at the very scenic Loboc river up to the departure area of Tagbilaran airport. And just like the song, images of the scenic Bohol also kept on flashing in my head as I relish the moments I was there.

Belgium: Europe's Place to .Be

DeliciousDiggTechnorati FavoritesMultiplyFacebookShare

I recently got back from a client support assignment in Belgium for 3 months. The first time I learned I was going to Belgium, I really had no idea what was instore for me for 3 months in that country.  The only thing that popped out of my mind when Belgium is mentioned is the picture of Miss Belgium, who became a crowd favorite when the Miss Universe was held in the Philippines in 1994. ( I was in high school then and yes I admit, I had one of those wallet size picture of

Pig-out at Boracay

DeliciousDiggTechnorati FavoritesMultiplyFacebookShare

It was my first time to go to Boracay, so I was looking forward to 2 things: the beach and the food.  I was really looking forward to lots and lots of seafood on my short stay on the island.

Our flight out of Manila is around 11AM and by the time we got to the island, it was already past 3PM and by the time we got out of our room after unpacking our things, it was already 5PM. I was really very hungry and very much looking forward to the late

Zorb-ed-out Experience At Boracay

DeliciousDiggTechnorati FavoritesMultiplyFacebookShare

My family and I were at Boracay last Christmas, and while strolling on the beach we chanced upon the booth for the Zorb. The first time I saw the Zorb was on one of the challenges from the Amazing Race series in New Zealand, then afterwards a company started one in Boracay and it got featured in Trip na Trip and Sports Unlimited.

It looked kinda fun the first time I saw it on TV, so since we had the opportunity, we did try it out.

The actual site for the Zorb is at Ilig-Iligan, Brgy

Sprouting Colored Trees on New Year's Eve

DeliciousDiggTechnorati FavoritesMultiplyFacebookShare

Living on the 10th floor of a condo, one of the “amenities” that I get to enjoy every year is watching the view of Makati and Manila skyline on new year’s eve, seeing all the fantastic fireworks across metro manila, without having to shell out any money.

As 12 midnight approaches you can gradually see increasing fireworks activities in the whole metro.  And while they were having a blast, I was also having a blast capturing the colors and patterns of the fireworks with my digicam.

The magic of the camera, setting it to

DeliciousDiggTechnorati FavoritesMultiplyFacebookShare

‘taaaayke my hends…off to Nether-Netherlands’, kaya tuloy yung kanta na yun ang parating nasa utak ko.

Curry, Hindi Adobo

DeliciousDiggTechnorati FavoritesMultiplyFacebookShare

(photo from Manuel L Quezon III blog)

Nung minsan na mapadaan ako sa bridge ng Greenbelt papuntang Landmark ay nakita ko ang bagong “wall paper” ng Ayala Museum na may catch phrase na “The exhibit you’ve
