May dalawang taon na rin ang nakalipas nang na-i-post ko ang tunkol sa Divisoria Shopper’s Map: A guide on the whereabouts of the things you need to buy in Divisoria.

Mikes: Ahhh ok may 4 pcs ba kayo? (kung meron yun sana bibilhin ko)

Cashier Lady:  Wala po.

Pig-out at Boracay

DeliciousDiggTechnorati FavoritesMultiplyFacebookShare

It was my first time to go to Boracay, so I was looking forward to 2 things: the beach and the food.  I was really looking forward to lots and lots of seafood on my short stay on the island.

Our flight out of Manila is around 11AM and by the time we got to the island, it was already past 3PM and by the time we got out of our room after unpacking our things, it was already 5PM. I was really very hungry and very much looking forward to the late

Zorb-ed-out Experience At Boracay

DeliciousDiggTechnorati FavoritesMultiplyFacebookShare

My family and I were at Boracay last Christmas, and while strolling on the beach we chanced upon the booth for the Zorb. The first time I saw the Zorb was on one of the challenges from the Amazing Race series in New Zealand, then afterwards a company started one in Boracay and it got featured in Trip na Trip and Sports Unlimited.

It looked kinda fun the first time I saw it on TV, so since we had the opportunity, we did try it out.

The actual site for the Zorb is at Ilig-Iligan, Brgy

Kenny Rankin died of lung cancer

Kenny who? The name just rang a tiny bell in my mind and the first thing that came into my mind was Chicken Roasters and the unit of temperature we get to convert from Kelvin in grade school science class.

Kenny Rankin's website www.kennyrankin.com

The name sounds familiar, but I can’t remember where I’ve heard the name. So I Googled my way to finding out who Kenny Rankin was and then I remembered his name from the Jingle magazine I had circa 1980′s. Probably most of us do not know

Map of Gulf of Aden and Somali coast with positions of the hijacked ships

“Manila, Philippines – In response to the increasing number of Filipino hostages in Somalia, the Philippine president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo has ordered the Philippine Navy to go after the Somali pirates on the high seas of the Gulf of Aden. The flag-officer-in-command of the Philippine Navy has commissioned three Philippine Navy destroyers to proceed to the Gulf of Aden and engage the Somali pirates.”

How I wish that was the headline in CNN and BBC, but unfortunately, we’re sitting ducks in

Susan Boyle, Britains Got Talent: Don't Judge The Book By Its Plastic Cover

DeliciousDiggTechnorati FavoritesMultiplyFacebookShare

Here is a classic sample of an Erap adage, ‘Don’t judge a book if you are not a judge’.

The clip is from the first episode of Britain Got Talent 2009, where Susan Boyle, a 47 yr old woman made a surprising display of talent. Honestly, when I saw this clip, I was thinking that this is probably one of those type of viral clips like the Bulgarian Idol who sang the “Ken Lee” by Mariah Carey. But unlike that performance, Susan Boyle’s performance is an ‘In your face!’ type of performance. Go click the play

While browsing through some blog posts in pinoyblogosphere, I happen to chance upon Hazel’s entry asking help for her niece who has cancer/leukemia. I was moved by her post so I decided to post an excerpt of her blog below to help her disseminate her niece’s story, get more info from other people and especially get more people to pray for her niece.

This is an excerpt of a blog entry at Zoe Grapho’ s blogsite (http://hazelsheryllchua.blogspot.com/2009/03/help-for-aj.html)

Flash Mob

DeliciousDiggTechnorati FavoritesMultiplyFacebookShare

Flash Mob: a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual action for a brief time, then quickly disperse. The organization of flash mobs is generally accepted as being limited to the social media or viral emails, rather than organized by public relations firms or for a stunt. Also flash mobs are not politically or commercially motivated as described by Bill Wasik’s in where he said, they serve no purpose (wikipedia)

Recently I’ve been very much entertained watching flash mob videos in YouTube after watching a T-mobile flash mob
