This is one of the famous must see in Bohol and who wouldn’t want to pass up on the opportunity to stare eye to eye with these cute little furry creatures.
Tarsier with a contemptous smile
Happy Wide Eyed Tarsier. This one seems to be happy having his picture taken
The first time I was at Bohol, it was only at Loboc Poblacion, at the river cruise terminal, where you can see and touch the tarsier. They were the only entity then that was granted permission by the DENR to care for Tarsiers in

Almost always, the country side tour would bring you to Loboc to have buffet lunch on a floating restaurant while traversing the very pristine Loboc river. While enjoying your lunch onboard, you are usually serenaded by guitarists, singers, or sometimes a choir. This is also where my Last Song Syndrome started with the guitarist playing the song ‘Balik sa Bohol’ near the end of the river cruise.

Probably the least interesting part of the country side tour, the Sandugo Shrine located at Bool is usually the first stop of the tour being near Tagbilaran port, airport and resorts.
Datu Sikatuna raising a goblet to toast as depicted by National Artist Napoleon Abueva (background: close-in security ni Sikatuna)
The Sandugo Shrine are life size bronze statues depicting the blood compact between Datu Sikatuna and Miguel Lopez de Legazpi. It is the least interesting because there is nothing on the site that explains the sculptures displayed.

Ofcourse if it is your first time to come to Bohol, it would be a sin not drop by and see the places and things that made Bohol a popular tourist destination and the Chocolate Hills is the ultimate must see place in Bohol. Chocolate hills is located in the town of Carmen and is called as such due to the brown color of the hills which resembles chocolate kisses from Hersheys during summer.

Living on the 10th floor of a condo, one of the “amenities” that I get to enjoy every year is watching the view of Makati and Manila skyline on new year’s eve, seeing all the fantastic fireworks across metro manila, without having to shell out any money.
As 12 midnight approaches you can gradually see increasing fireworks activities in the whole metro. And while they were having a blast, I was also having a blast capturing the colors and patterns of the fireworks with my digicam.
The magic of the camera, setting it to

I previously wrote about Flash Mobs (read post here) and I was very surprised a company sponsored flash mob by Jollibee happened last Aug 8, 2009 at the SM Mall of Asia. Previous Pinoy flashmobs were sponsored by Wrangler Jeans at Glorietta and Greenwich Pizza (at some mall). The recent one from Jollibee was a very large flash mob similar to the T-Mobile dancing flash mob, probably even bigger. Enuf said! Just watch and enjoy!
